Time Flies By

I have been a blog slacker lately, just haven't felt like blogging.  I don't know what is going on with me, but I sure haven't felt good.  Guess I will have to make an appointment with my doctor.  I have to make an appointment any way to have a cyst taken care of as the antibiotic didn't take care of it, just made it look better as it was looking ugly all inflamed.  So I guess I will be calling my doc tomorrow.

Anyway, a lot of things have been going on since I blogged last so I think I will post a few pictures and make some comments on them and hopefully bring things up to date.

First of all, my granddaughter Sierra, had me drive her to a high school dance at the Old Gym in Overton.  It was a formal affair and I couldn't believe how beautiful she looked.  I call this picture "The Lady in Red."  This is her Senior year and it is so hard to believe.

Halloween came and Renee posted these cute pictures of Rozlynn on FB.  I didn't get to see her, so the pictures were great.  She is such a little doll, and is growing up way to fast.  Looks like she had a lot of fun at Daycare with her friends on Halloween.  I miss her and wish we lived a little closer so I could see her more often.

Mommy dressed up too. She is a pretty witch.  Looks like she had a fun time on Halloween. Bret and Laura came over on Halloween and helped with the trick or treaters.  Frank had so much fun tricking the kids by asking them for a treat and looking into their bags for one.  Some of the looks he got were hilarious, and some dug something out for him.  It was a fun evening, except for the new chili recipe I tried.  It was yucky!!!!  Should have stayed with the good ole one I have made for ever.

Frank & I were excited to finally hear from the Vets, yea! he got his benefits raised and got some back pay as he started the process a year ago.  So we went into Vegas and splurged on some new Christmas outdoor decorations, went to dinner and had a nice day shopping for the decorations.  Frank will be starting on the decorations soon.  A little each day so it won't be so hard on him.

We went to Mesquite last Wednesday so Frank could see Dr. Savron, his heart specialist, and get the results of a kidney CT he had done a few weeks back.  Dr. Savron seemed almost disappointed that everything was good as he thought he could take care of Franks blood pressure problem if there would have been a clogged artery in the Kidney area.  Dr. Savon told Frank that he needed to go on a diet as his blood work was not very good, especially since he had to quit his Crestor.  I am going to have to figure out what to shop for and fix for him to eat as Frank is going to start the diet tomorrow.  It is a bummer, as there isn't too much in life to enjoy any more except good food.  He can't golf, bowl, etc any more.  We are going to try and start walking.  I actually need to get back on my "dreadmill."  So we will see how this all goes.  The doctor says either lose weight, or he will have to use drugs on him.

Yesterday we went to see the movie Jack & Jill. I have never laughed so hard in my life.  I had tears running down my face.  If you want to see a good movie go and see this one.  It is one you can take the kids to.

Early this morning I woke up to pain in my left arm and shoulder all the way down to my fingers.  It hurt so bad that I had tears in my eyes.  I wanted to wake Frank up and see if he could rub the pain out.  I finally sat in my massage chair and the pain finally quit.  I think I must have been sleeping with my arm in a bad position.  I will definitely be seeing my favorite Chiropractor tomorrow, and Jamie is going to come down Tuesday or Wednesday and give me a massage, I can't wait.

Today was Zachary's farewell and I sure wish I could have been there and heard the talk he gave.  I wish him luck and success on his mission, and want him to know that I love him and I am very proud of him.  He will be going into the MTC on the 16th.  He will be going to Washington, DC.  Sounds like an exciting place to go to.

Well, this should bring our lives up to date.
